My guest is Tom Marvel. Tom telling a story how he build his suscessful buiness and in the same time made his hoppy to a real prfoessional carier in photgraphy.
He graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston in 1977 with a degree in Music Composition. He played music professionally for ten years primarily on the east coast of the USA (NY, Philadelphia, Washington DC, etc). During that time he also did a stint with Norwegian Caribbean Lines playing on the cruise ships in the Bahamas.
Eventually he was “encouraged” by my girlfriend/wife/ex-wife to transition from music and into a more reliable source of income. Than he started making cabinets & futon frames on the side of his father’s basement.That was 1991 and nowadays he is having 30,000 square foot factory with 35 employees and 30 years of continuing business. He picked up a camera back in 2013 just for something new to do and educated him self to be one of the most know photographers in NJ and New York noaways with 67 publications in last 12 mouth.
